Be part of Vancouver Region Educational Services (VRES) by assisting as an Event Support Assistant during the Youth Cultural Diversity Day. Engage with attendees and help coordinate activities to ensure a smooth event.
VRES is seeking proactive individuals aged 12 and up to help run the Youth Cultural Diversity Day at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver. Responsibilities include greeting attendees, setting up booths, organizing materials, and managing activity stations. As an assistant, your role involves direct interaction with children and community members, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct attendees upon arrival
• Set up event booths and décor before the event
• Prepare and organize materials for activities
• Engage with attendees at activity stations
• Capture event highlights through photography for social media
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 12 years required
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to the event location
• Comfortable in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Ability to commit to scheduled event timings
