Senior Feature Animator at ILM

Shape character performances for the animated musical feature 'Oh, the Places You’ll Go!' at Industrial Light & Magic in Vancouver. Bring life, rhythm, and creativity to vibrant characters in this hybrid role.

As a Senior Feature Animator, you will contribute to a highly anticipated project produced with Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. Ideal candidates have over five years of animation experience and a passion for storytelling through animated characters. You will guide sequences, ensure stylistic consistency, and mentor junior animators while collaborating with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Animate diverse characters with high-level performance and timing

• Execute direction from the Lead Animator and Animation Supervisor

• Own complex shots from blocking to final animation

• Supervise entry and mid-level animators as needed

• Provide feedback during daily production meetings

Requirements:

• 5+ years in professional Feature Animation

• Expert knowledge of animation principles and compositional design

• Strong organization and communication skills

• Proficient in Maya and Linux

• Demo reel showcasing prior work is required
