Stage Technician at Chan Centre

In this position, you will support both commercial and academic clients by preparing and presenting events within the Chan Centre. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Stage Craft and three years of experience, ready to assemble and operate essential production equipment. Safety and quality are paramount in ensuring successful event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and set up staging per client specifications

• Configure lighting and audio-video equipment accordingly

• Serve as stage door steward as needed

• Assist in loading and unloading equipment for events

• Maintain safety standards during all tasks

Requirements:

• High school graduation required

• Diploma in Stage Craft or equivalent experience

• Minimum three years of related technical experience

• Strong understanding of equipment and safety protocols

• Willingness to work irregular hours and adapt to client needs
