Theatre Manager

Position: Theatre Manager at Crofton House School
Lead the technical operations at Crofton House School as Theatre Manager in Vancouver, British Columbia. Coordinate productions, manage technical staff, and support student performances.

Crofton House School is seeking a full-time Theatre Manager to oversee its vibrant performing arts community. This in-person role emphasizes collaboration with students, teachers, and staff to manage events and productions. You will produce major theatre productions and ensure safety in performance spaces while leading the tech crew and coordinating facility use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate technical operations for all events and performances

• Produce two major annual school theatre productions

• Manage design aspects including lighting, sound, and staging

• Train and supervise student tech crew in stagecraft

• Communicate safety guidelines to staff and students

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in technical theatre or live events

• Experience mentoring youth highly preferred

• Clear Criminal Record Check required

• Knowledge of lighting and sound systems essential

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
