Join the innovative team at Next Level Games as a Technical Designer. Use your expertise in game development to create engaging gaming experiences in a hybrid format.
At Next Level Games, affiliated with Nintendo, you’ll harness your technical and design skills to be a key part of game development. You should have at least one shipped game or three years of relevant experience. In this role, you'll establish best practices for level creation while facilitating communication between design and engineering teams to deliver high-quality game features.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help create and maintain the level creation pipeline
• Act as a liaison between tech and design teams
• Recommend solutions for level-specific features
• Support technical standards within performance constraints
• Assist in testing and feedback for new tools
Requirements:
• 1+ shipped game or at least 3 years of industry experience
• Proficient in Maya and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Python along with C/C++ or C#/.NET
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and self-motivation
• Bonus for those experienced with Houdini
