Become a key player at Next Level Games as an Environment Artist, contributing to the creation of exceptional gaming environments in Vancouver. This hybrid role focuses on blending in-house creativity with collaborative efforts from remote locations.

You will be instrumental in bringing our award-winning games to life by crafting captivating environments that enhance player immersion. With at least three years of experience or one shipped console title, your expertise in platforms like Maya and Zbrush will be essential. This role emphasizes teamwork and creativity as you partner with concept artists and the Production team to ensure visual quality and artistic consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging environments that enrich player gameplay

• Collaborate with artists and designers for cohesive art styles

• Assist in setting goals and timelines with the team

• Ensure outsourced assets meet quality standards

• Apply gameplay fundamentals to improve user experiences

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years as an Environment Artist

• Expertise in hard surface and organic modeling

• Familiar with Maya, Zbrush, and Substance workflows

• Comprehensive knowledge of 3D design practices

• Strong collaborative mindset for team projects
