Senior Tax Manager

What You’ll Do:

A leadership opportunity for an expert CPA. This
Senior Tax Manager Role in Vancouver
comes with a clear trajectory to partnership.

As a key member of the
Canadian Tax team
, you will:

  • Prepare and review
    consolidated tax provisions
    for financial statement reporting in accordance with IFRS.
  • Collaborate with
    Tax Partners and senior staff
    on business tax compliance, tax provisions, and tax advisory engagements.
  • Develop and implement
    tax planning strategies
    for corporate and partnership clients.
  • Review and oversee
    complex corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
    .
  • Stay up to date with
    tax laws and legislative updates
    to advise Canadian and foreign companies on domestic and international tax implications.
  • Assist in
    corporate reorganizations, business acquisitions/dispositions, and compensation planning
    .
  • Build and
    manage senior-level client relationships
    , providing high-quality tax service and advice.
  • Review and approve
    technical research and tax planning recommendations
    .
  • Mentor and coach
    staff to help them achieve their highest potential.
What You Bring:
  • CPA designation (or equivalent) with
    Canada In-Depth Tax Course
    completed.
  • 5+ years of experience
    in Canadian tax within public practice.
  • Extensive knowledge of
    IFRS and tax legislation
    .
  • Strong
    project management, leadership, and communication
    skills.
  • Proactive,
    deadline-driven, and a team player
    .
