Banking and Finance Associate

A prestigious team that provides exceptional legal services across multiple areas of law and industries, they are currently looking to add an experienced and talented banking and financial services associate to their busy practice group to support their numerous national and international clients.

• $145,000+, commensurate with experience
• Discretionary bonus structure

Given the amount of work available, the incumbent lawyer will be managing their own files while also supporting the Partners on a full range of banking and financing matters. These would include but not be limited to acting on behalf of borrowers and lenders in local, domestic, and international transactions such as corporate lending, acquisition finance, infrastructure and project finance, mezzanine finance, asset based lending, and real estate financing matters.

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 3+ years of experience post call to the bar. Focus of experience in banking and financial services highly preferred
• Comfortable with a 1700 annual billable target
