** Role

Description:

** The Analyst, Global Portfolio Management (GPM) will report to the Vice President, Global Portfolio Management and be responsible for advancing portfolio analytics and portfolio optimization for the International portfolio. This position will work closely with the International Asset Management and Investment team, Research and International Operations to ensure consistency and accuracy in portfolio analysis across the Quad Real Portfolio.
** Responsibilities:
*** Advance Quad Real’s agenda for deriving insights at the portfolio level by contributing to scenario modelling, what-if analysis, and debt modelling efforts
* Collecting and validating operational and performance data from various internal and external sources
* Updating and maintaining proprietary databases and reporting dashboards for accurate and timely reporting
* Computing AUM, investment performance, real estate operating metrics, and other KPI’s
* Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, designing and creating tools for portfolio reporting, creating custom automations for portfolio analytics and establishing data models to effectively capture investment team metrics
* Assist in preparing data for management reports provided to Business Unit Leads, the Portfolio Manager (Vice President and Managing Director), the International President, CEO and ultimately, the Quad Real Board of Directors)
* Support real estate investment underwriting by providing portfolio impact analysis
* Understanding of asset classes and financial theories that underpin portfolio & index construction

* Experience and Qualifications:

*** Education – University degree with major in business, finance, mathematics, or economics. Working towards advanced degree or other professional designations (e.g. CFA, CPA)

* Experience:

1-3 years background as a finance analyst in one or more of the following areas; real estate investment, equity/ fixed investment management, fund services, investment consulting or pension plan sponsor
* Analytical / Computer Skills – Excellent data modelling, mathematics, and problem-solving skills; advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA and other programming languages a plus), experience with Yardi or other similar real estate software (e.g. MRI) and BI tools considered a plus
* Relationship Skills – Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with all personalities; ability to exercise strict confidentiality
* Interest in real estate and financial markets
* Organizational/Multi-Task Skills – Accurate and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure, manage and meet tight deadlines; ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and constant changes; ability to use initiative and self-management skills to work independently with minimal direction and respond effectively to issues that arise
