Career opportunity:
We currently have a career opportunity for an Investment Advisor in our Vancouver Head Office, helping newly recruited MFDA advisors move their book to our Unified Managed Accounts program, while they complete their CIRO licensing. This role requires an individual that has CIRO sales experience and is willing to learn how our private investment solutions benefit clients. The successful candidate is ambitious, professional, detail-oriented, independent, organized, and effective at multi-tasking, with strong communication and people skills.

You will be responsible for:
  • Foster a “team first” environment and can work well with other colleagues (IA’s and PM’s);
  • Have a genuine interest in working with retail clients with a strong desire to help them achieve their investment goals;
  • Handle incoming client queries (calls, emails, etc.) to address their needs while communicating the benefits of our private solutions;
  • Maintain a client contact system to accurately & timely document your communications with clients;
  • Provide administrative support and other duties as assigned to ensure a successful working environment.
The ideal candidate for this position has:
  • Have experience in a professional, client facing environment in the financial services industry;
  • Strong computer skills, highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications and PDF software;
  • Ability to learn new programs, i.e., Docu Sign, proprietary client management systems;
  • Experience with financial planning software is a benefit;
  • Previous experience with Morningstar, YCharts, etc. is an asset;
  • CIRO licensed (CSC/CPH completed)
  • CIM, QAFP or CFP are assets;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
