Position Summary
The Director P2P of Cash Management is responsible for overseeing the organization’s cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and banking operations. This role ensures sufficient cash availability to meet operational needs while optimizing the use of excess funds and minimizing financial risk.
What You Will Be Doing- Lead, develop, mentor and manage cash management and accounts payable staff.
- Oversee daily cash positioning among all banks, WHT debt and short-term liquidity planning
- Monitor and optimize working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable cash impact
- Lead cash forecasting and reporting for senior leadership and the board
- Partner with subsidiaries in D365 in streamlining invoice processing, vendor reconciliations and appropriate accruals
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, tax, and audit teams on cash-related initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accounting, and internal policy requirements
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard cash and prevent fraud
- Evaluate and implement systems and process improvements
- Maintain strong internal controls over cash and banking activities and all P2P activities
- Support internal and external audits related to cash, bank reconciliations and all P2P process
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX (if applicable), and IFRS regulations
- Assist in fraud prevention and detection efforts
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve cash and reconciliation processes
- Prepare cash and reconciliation reports for management
- 10+ years of progressive experience in P2P, cash management, treasury, or finance, including 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, working capital optimization, and end-to-end P2P processes
- Proven experience leading teams, strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and ensuring SOX/IFRS compliance
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365), treasury systems, and process automation
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business; CTP, CPA/CA/ACCA or similar certification preferred
The salary for this position falls within a defined range and will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the needs of the organization.
