This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team within the firm by playing a key role within our Real Estate Finance Team. You will be responsible for accounting functions and financial analyses of our limited partnerships with income-producing and development assets in the U.S. and Canadian markets. You will provide insightful support to the Real Estate Finance Management Team and will look for opportunities to improve systems and processes.

The Real Estate team has seen tremendous growth in recent years, and a strategic focus on process improvements, scalability, and agility is essential to success in this dynamic role.

This is an on-site role located in our Vancouver Real Estate office.

• Responsible for preparing and completing the month-end close of property and fund level financials which roll up to the Value Add, Canadian, and U.S. Real Estate Limited Partnerships (“Funds”).
• Perform detailed oversight and monthly NAV calculations of the Funds.
• Review NAV inputs from various teams including the development, acquisition and asset management teams.
• Preparing month-end close and financial reporting for various Real Estate corporate entities.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly tax reporting, including GST filings.
• Reviewing property level financials in conjunction with the Fund’s accounting manager.
• Assisting with the audit process during interim and year-end.
• Preparing analyses for cash management and forecasting.
• Assisting with drafting various monthly and quarterly reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the Real Estate team, the larger Finance team, including the asset and property management teams and external stakeholders.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with audit experience.
• Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred.
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of $80,000 - $100,000
, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
