Pay Rate: $35–42/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Overtime: May be required when covering U.S. statutory holidays

Position Summary
The TDS Operations Analyst – Trade Finance supports Business-as-Usual (BAU) trade finance operations with a strong focus on Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs) and Guarantees. This role manages complex, customer-facing transactions for corporate clients across Canada and the U.S., ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to SLAs within a regulated banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Operations
Execute complex trade finance transactions accurately and on time in accordance with SLAs
Support trade finance operations with a heavy focus on SBLCs and Guarantees
Identify, document, and investigate process exceptions beyond first-level operations
Maintain strong client relationships and respond to inbound and outbound inquiries
Escalate non-standard or high-risk transactions as appropriate
Process, Risk & Analysis
Analyze operational and service issues; conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements
Provide accurate analysis of key process drivers and systemic issues
Contribute to consolidated and ad-hoc reporting
Ensure documentation reflects client and business intent and complies with ICC rules (UCP, ISP, URDG)
Adhere to enterprise risk frameworks including AML and Business Continuity
Projects & Collaboration
Coordinate with cross-functional partners and act as SME or project lead for small initiatives
Support change management efforts and ensure clear communication of new processes
Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members as required
Required (Must-Have) Skills
3+ years of Trade Finance experience
Hands-on experience with SBLCs and Guarantees (not LC-only profiles)
Familiarity with ICC rules: UCP, ISP, URDG
Strong customer-facing experience with corporate clients
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) or CSDG
Familiarity with TPS
360Working knowledge of SWIFT
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or college diploma
3+ years of relevant trade finance or operations experience
