The Lead Analyst, Fraud Prevention & Detection role at Wave focuses on identifying changing fraud trends and improving the efficacy of controls in digital payment systems. You will conduct detailed analyses of transaction behaviors and provide clear recommendations to optimize performance metrics. Working closely with various teams will amplify the effectiveness of fraud management strategies across Wave’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze fraud patterns and control effectiveness regularly
• Develop and evaluate fraud detection strategies and alerts
• Review fraud performance metrics and suggest enhancements
• Conduct investigations into fraud incidents and missed signals
• Partner with multiple teams to implement improvements
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud risk or prevention
• Strong analytical background with data tools
• Skilled in monitoring performance metrics and identifying gaps
• Experience with fraud control and AI/ML applications
• Knowledge of real-time decisioning processes
