Compensation Details:

• Underwriter 18:
  Salaries typically range from $96,557 to $128,743 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.
• Underwriter 19:
  Salaries typically range from $112,006 to $149,341 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.

Location:

• Export Development Canada operates under a hybrid work model, with employees currently required to work from the office three days per week.
• This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa or from one of our Community Hubs located in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver.
• Relocation assistance is available for candidates who meet the eligibility criteria.

Team Overview:

The International Trade Guarantee (ITG) – Corporate and Global Accounts (CGA) team delivers innovative risk transfer and working capital solutions that help Canadian companies compete and grow both domestically and internationally. Through partnerships with financial institutions and surety providers, ITG enables clients to access financing, bonding, foreign exchange facilities, and other critical support while preserving liquidity and balance sheet capacity.

Our team supports companies across a wide range of industries with a focus on large national and global enterprises. We combine sound financial analysis & underwriting practices, commercial judgment, and customer focus to facilitate business growth while managing risk responsibly.
