How does the role impact the organization?
We are currently seeking seasonal Tax Associates to provide support during periods of high volume for a duration of 1-2 months in the month of March and April. This role is primarily responsible for the preparation of Personal (T1) tax returns of Raymond James clients.

What will your role be responsible for?

Preparation of personal Personal (T1) tax returns for Raymond James investment clients in a timely and accurate manner

Gathering information from client, CRA online portal and internal reports

Preparation of electronic working paper files of all tax documentation used to support the tax return for senior level review, prior to filing

Corresponding with clients or Financial Advisors/Agents to identify and obtain missing information

Handling and responding to email enquiries related to tax returns

What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

Working towards or completion of a post-secondary degree

Recent experience in Canadian tax preparation of Personal (T1) returns.

Experience with CCH Tax Prep, CRA Represent a Client, MS Office and Adobe Acrobat

Work within deadlines in a high-volume and demanding environment while maintaining a high level of service and an imperative attention to detail;

Demonstrate email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills;

Salary Range:  $20-25/ hourly

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
