Commercial Banking Associate

Commercial Banking Associates use financial analysis and client engagement skills at CIBC in Vancouver, with structured classroom and on-the-job training. This regular role includes 37.5 weekly hours.
As a Commercial Banking Associate, you support managers with existing relationships and new financing transactions. You analyze industries, clients, prospects, and financial information while learning commercial banking products and processes. The program develops skills for future Relationship Manager responsibilities and portfolio oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist managers with client relationships and financing transactions
Prepare financial and industry analyses for credit submissions
Support activities throughout the commercial banking sales cycle
Identify business opportunities and financing solutions
Participate in structured training, coaching, and mentoring
Requirements:
Final-year degree student in business, finance, accounting, or related fields
Expected graduation before May 31, 2027
Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
Knowledge of valuation techniques and cash flow analysis
Mobility is an asset;
British Columbia work locations apply
Develop commercial banking, business development, and financial analysis expertise while supporting CIBC clients and preparing for relationship management.
