Support personal and small business clients through personalized financial solutions as an Associate Financial Advisor with CIBC in Vancouver. Build trusted relationships through advice-based conversations.
You’ll work within CIBC’s Personal and Business Banking team at the Vancouver-400 Burrard St. Commerce Pl. Main Banking Centre. The position focuses on understanding client needs, meeting investment, financial, and credit requirements, and deepening mortgage relationships. You’ll network with clients and communities, identify growth opportunities, and connect clients with appropriate partners. Full-time on-site work and flexibility across nearby banking centres are required.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand client priorities through purposeful conversations
- Meet investment, financial, and credit-related needs
- Refer clients to Imperial Service and Business Banking colleagues
- Call existing and potential clients about future opportunities
- Participate in business development and client appreciation events
- Two to three years of financial advice experience
- Experience achieving sales results through advice-based conversations
- Mutual Funds License accreditation in good standing
- Ability to meet CIRO-MFD licensing eligibility requirements
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and multiple banking centres
