Senior Canadian Brokerage Operations Associate

As a Senior Brokerage Operations Associate, you will translate CIRO-aligned requirements into auditable workflows. Your work spans clearing, settlement, registered accounts, tax operations, reconciliations, and partner-broker servicing. You will collaborate with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and global Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design account opening, maintenance, trading, and cash workflows
Define partner-broker responsibilities across accounts, trades, and assets
Automate settlement, corporate actions, exceptions, and reconciliations
Document runbooks, controls, RACI, escalations, and failure plans
Prepare TFSA, RRSP, RESP, tax, and reporting operations
Requirements:
10+ years of hands-on Canadian brokerage operations experience
Experience with CIRO, CDS or CDSX, custody, and settlement
Depth in at least two core brokerage operations disciplines
Strong written communication for SOPs, requirements, and decision logs
Practical automation and AI-assisted operations experience
