Job Description & How to Apply Below

Company Description Grow Wise offers access to private market investment opportunities in Canadian real estate, private credit, and private equity, helping clients make their money work as hard as they do. The firm focuses on diversified, alternative investments designed to complement traditional portfolios. Clients are supported by licensed advisors who provide guidance at every step of the investment process. Grow Wise emphasizes transparency, education, and personalized advice to help individuals make informed, long-term financial decisions.

Role Description The EMD Dealing Representative at Grow Wise is a contract, remote role responsible for sourcing, advising on, and processing exempt market investment transactions for clients. In this position, the representative conducts client discovery and suitability assessments, explains private market offerings, and presents recommendations that align with client goals and risk profiles. Day-to-day tasks include responding to client inquiries, preparing and reviewing subscription documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records in the firm’s systems.

The role also involves ongoing relationship management, including periodic portfolio reviews, follow-up communications, and coordinating with internal teams to support a smooth client experience.

Qualifications

  • Regulatory and licensing capabilities, such as registration as an Exempt Market Dealer Dealing Representative (or eligibility to obtain), and strong knowledge of Canadian securities regulations.
  • Client advisory and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex investment concepts clearly, conduct suitability assessments, and build long-term client relationships.
  • Analytical and financial skills, such as assessing private market offerings, understanding risk and return profiles, and interpreting offering memoranda and financial documents.
  • Organizational and technical skills, including accurate documentation, use of CRM or advisory platforms, and attention to detail in processing transactions and maintaining compliance records.
  • Prior experience in wealth management, exempt market products, or financial services is strongly preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet regulatory and internal deadlines.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, client-centric service, and ongoing professional development in the investment field.
