Lead commercial real estate lending at RBC in Vancouver, using credit structuring and client relationship management across Eastern Canada.
As a Director, you will develop business and manage commercial real estate clients in hospitality, seniors housing, and self-storage. You will structure bilateral and syndicated facilities while advising valued RBC clients. The role includes underwriting oversight, portfolio management, and collaboration with an Associate Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver financing for hotels, seniors housing, and self-storage
- Structure bilateral and complex syndicated transactions
- Oversee credit underwriting quality and loan structuring
- Maintain portfolio health, expiries, securities, and reporting
- Build transaction pipelines and external industry networks
- Previous real estate IPP lending experience
- Proven sales, business development, and client management record
- Strong negotiation, credit structuring, and underwriting skills
- Project budget and financial statement analysis experience
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and communication skills
