We’re hiring! The City of Vancouver’s has an open competition for an RFT Public Engagement Planner. This is a specialized role that provides strategic engagement planning advice on complex, multi-departmental initiatives, and develops policies and processes in support of effective, inclusive public involvement.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has considerable applied knowledge of public engagement best practices and methods for engaging with diverse audiences
- Enjoys providing strategic engagement planning advice, including to senior-level staff
- Is excited to help set the direction for digital engagement tools, in a way that’s clear, consistent and accessible
- Is a strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and is adept at collaborating with others.
This position is based in Vancouver (City Hall) but allows for remote work three days/week, within a commutable distance.
