North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM) seeks a Planning Assistant II to provide vital support in planning projects related to emergency management. Candidates will conduct research and analysis, create planning documents, and assist in the development of standard operating procedures. Effective communication and meticulous attention to detail are key for facilitating collaboration among staff and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diverse technical and research tasks on planning
• Analyze and compile data for planning initiatives
• Support the development of graphic presentations and materials
• Maintain a proactive approach to completing assignments
• Organize and facilitate meetings with care
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 education with relevant courses
• Experience in emergency response or planning preferred
• Must possess a Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence
• Capability to participate in a monthly on-call schedule
• Strong communication and writing skills required
