In this key role, you will contribute to the AASB by advising on the development and application of auditing and assurance standards. Your work includes leading initiatives, conducting impactful research, and engaging with external stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to shape standards that address modern audit challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and analyze auditing issues and alternatives
• Lead standard-setting project plans and meetings
• Report findings and insights to support decision-making
• Develop materials for both internal and external communications
• Connect with global standard setters and stakeholders
Requirements:
• At least 5 years in the Audit and Assurance sector
• Proficient in current auditing standards
• Research-driven with excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal abilities with a client-centric approach
• Advanced skills in MS Office 365, bilingual preferred
