In this temporary full-time position, you will support critical job evaluation initiatives within a complex and unionized public-sector context. Your expertise will contribute to the consistent and accurate application of job evaluation methodologies, ensuring clarity and defensibility of job classifications. You will engage with multiple stakeholders, conduct detailed evaluations, and provide essential training support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the provincial job evaluation project implementation
• Conduct in-depth job evaluations and analysis
• Draft and revise job descriptions for accuracy
• Provide technical guidance to participating school districts
• Support quality assurance and training initiatives
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
• 3-5 years in job evaluation within public sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of public-sector labor relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
