In this pivotal role, you will leverage 15+ years of expertise in Indigenous relations, leading initiatives that align with community priorities. You'll design and implement Indigenous Knowledge integration in environmental assessments while facilitating field studies and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engagement initiatives with Indigenous communities
• Incorporate Indigenous Knowledge into project studies
• Assess project impacts and propose mitigation plans
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams effectively
• Conduct engaging community workshops and knowledge sessions
Requirements:
• 15 or more years in Indigenous relations or consultation
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous governance and history
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Valid driver's license for community activities
• Proficiency in Indigenous languages is beneficial
