Position Overview

Esse Beauty Corp. dba V-Salon is looking for full-time permanent HAIRSTYLISTs to join the team as soon as possible.

Location:

493 SW Marine Drive, Vancouver, BC V5X 0E5

Hourly rate: $20.00 – $22.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Permanent employment, Full time (30-40 hours / week)

Work setting: hairstyling salon

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

• Experience:
  
  2 years to less than 3 years
• Physical Capabilities:
  Standing for extended periods

• Shampoo customers' hair
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to color, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and perform basic treatment
• Consult clients about scalp or hair conditions
• Suggest hairstyle compatible with client’s physical traits
• Listen to clients' preferences to determine the hair style
