Role DescriptionThis is a part‑time hybrid role for a Trauma Therapist (Registered Clinical Counsellor) based in Vancouver, BC, with the flexibility to work partly from home. Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, assessing and treating trauma‑related challenges, developing and implementing treatment plans, and offering support in individual and family counseling contexts. The therapist will work collaboratively with clients to foster growth and healing while maintaining a high standard of care and confidentiality.
Qualifications- Professional background in Social Work and Case Management
- Educational background and experience in Psychology and Mental Health
- Training in Family Therapy with skills in addressing familial dynamics and relationships
- Registered Clinical Counsellor designation or equivalent professional licensure
- Strong communication, active listening, and empathy skills
- Experience with trauma‑informed practices and EMDR is highly preferred
- Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
