In this role, you will provide rich, clinical Audiology services such as assessments, patient education, and counseling. You will be vital in delivering lectures and leading hospital rounds while engaging in vital research activities. Mentorship responsibilities for students and residents will also enhance your professional growth and leadership skills within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and interpret Audiology assessments for patients
• Prepare comprehensive patient reports and educational content
• Engage actively in patient rounds and risk management
• Mentor Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology students and staff
• Facilitate patient and family consultation and support
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• Demonstrated ability to execute Audiology assessments
• Solid understanding of auditory disorders and intervention strategies
• Effective teamwork skills with interdisciplinary professionals
• Strong organizational and presentation capabilities
