Your role will focus on providing essential daily living support and collaboration with health professionals.
In this part-time position, you will aid a multidisciplinary team in delivering personalized assistance to residents needing short- or long-term care. Responsibilities include supporting hygiene, nutrition, and mobility needs, while conducting organized activities for patients. You will observe and report on their health and wellbeing under the supervision of a regulated health professional.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patients with daily hygiene and nutrition needs
• Support organized activities and programs for residents
• Observe and report on patient mood and wellbeing
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with health care professionals
Requirements:
• Active or eligible for registration with CLHA in Alberta
• Completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months
• Ability to assist in diverse care settings
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Commitment to patient safety and care standards
