Certified Medical Laboratory Technician Position

Contribute to patient care as a Certified Medical Laboratory Technician at Peace Island Medical Center in Friday Harbor, WA. This full-time night role focuses on moderate and high complexity testing.

As part of the critical access hospital team, you'll perform vital lab procedures, ensuring accuracy from specimen collection to analysis. You'll guide phlebotomy teams and consult with clinicians, all while upholding high laboratory standards and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-complexity laboratory tests with precision

• Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance activities

• Guide and train new laboratory personnel and students

• Document analysis in compliance with regulations

• Participate in continuing education workshops

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

• MLT certification by ASCP or AMT needed

• 2 years experience preferred

• New graduates are welcome

• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory protocols
