In this role, you'll perform comprehensive audiological assessments, develop personalized fitting plans for amplification devices, and document patient interactions. You will work within a framework committed to Indigenous Cultural Safety, ensuring that care is equitable and inclusive for all communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and diagnoses of hearing disorders
• Fit amplification devices according to age-specific protocols
• Engage in consultations with clients and families
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans
• Advocate for cultural competency in all interactions
Requirements:
• Full registration with the CHCPBC required
• One year of experience related to audiology
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• BC Driver’s License for local travel
• Understanding of trauma-informed practices
