The Homemaker reports directly to the Site Manager and is dedicated to maintaining a clean environment for residents at Tamura House. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, organizing supplies, and assisting clientele with personal hygiene.
Your role is crucial for the health and safety of those you serve, adhering to stringent WorkSafeBC requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean resident rooms and public areas diligently
• Change, make beds, and do laundry efficiently
• Organize and supervise volunteer efforts
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and nutrition
• Maintain compliance with health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education plus one year relevant experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Criminal Record Clearance for vulnerable sector
Support vulnerable adults while ensuring a clean, safe living environment in Vancouver with Lookout Housing and Health Society.
