This per diem COTA role requires executing established treatment plans under supervision. You'll communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining documentation and contributing to department operations. Your input will help develop clinical skills and ensure adherence to licensing and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement patient treatment plans under supervision
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Provide timely documentation per department requirements
• Support department operations and development initiatives
• Report changes in patient status to supervising therapists
Requirements:
• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Must possess active CPR/BLS certification
• Full knowledge of residents' rights
• Ability to multitask effectively in patient care
• Understand Medicare and other payer sources
