Aldaview Services invites applications for a Full-Time Direct Support Worker position focused on providing person-centered assistance to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Collaborate with the Primary Direct Support for guidance while promoting community involvement and personal wellness. The role includes overnight shifts and weekend rotations, fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in their daily routines with dignity

• Promote community involvement and personal growth

• Report to the Program Manager regarding client status

• Support individual needs for physical and emotional wellness

• Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in social services preferred

• CPR and Emergency First Aid certification required

• Valid G license for driving residents

• Experience with dual diagnosis and mental health an asset

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
