Life Labs is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Assistant to support specimen collection for our patients. This part-time position requires proficiency in phlebotomy, patient communication, and the ability to prepare specimens for testing. You will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality laboratory standards in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain specimen collection procedures

• Perform phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors

• Conduct special test collections including drug screens

• Maintain records and process patient information accurately

• Prepare specimens for transportation and laboratory testing

Requirements:

• Completed Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience

• Previous training in phlebotomy is essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times
