This role involves managing a caseload within the Shift BC program and supporting participants through assessment and intervention. An emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices is essential. You will collaborate with a clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans and promote community safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop individualized safety plans for participants
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic counselling techniques
• Facilitate interdisciplinary consultations for case management
• Engage in culturally responsive practices with clients
• Document service delivery and participant progress consistently
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work
• At least three years of trauma-informed counselling experience
• Training in therapeutic techniques like IFS and expressive arts
• Experience with violence prevention strategies
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary settings
