Position: Pharmacist at Mississippi River Health Alliance

As a Pharmacist, you will provide essential pharmaceutical services, such as dispensing medications and monitoring drug utilization. Your clinical skills will directly contribute to improving the health care experience for patients at Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. Collaboration is key as you adhere to hospital standards and quality objectives in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications according to clinical guidelines

• Monitor drug utilization and adjust prescriptions as necessary

• Provide drug information and clinical medication management

• Ensure compliance with health regulations and statutes

• Communicate effectively with patients and health care staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution

• Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Demonstrated clinical skills in medication management

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and standards

• Commitment to ongoing education in pharmacy practices
