Occupational Therapist for Pediatric Services

In this part-time termed position, you'll work within Therapy Services, delivering occupational therapy solutions in homes, clinics, and schools. You will assess how children’s environments affect their participation in activities and implement therapeutic strategies in collaboration with families. Strong communication and organization will be key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate children's needs to facilitate participation

• Provide educational coaching to families

• Design programs using evidence-based methodology

• Consult with other caregivers including educators

• Keep comprehensive records for compliance

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Medicine

• Previous pediatric experience preferred

• Understanding of feeding/swallowing issues is an asset

• Registration required with CHCPBC

• Physical capability to fulfill the job duties
