This per diem role focuses on assisting licensed therapists by implementing patient treatment plans and maintaining quality documentation. You will interact with patients and healthcare providers while developing your own clinical skills. Contribute to the overall success of rehab services by staying informed on patient needs and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement established treatment plans from supervising therapists
• Maintain effective communication with patients and team members
• Prepare accurate timely documentation for patient care
• Participate in the ongoing development of rehabilitation services
• Report patient status changes to therapists immediately
Requirements:
• Completion of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid CPR/BLS certification required
• Knowledge of residents' rights and therapies
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with Medicare and insurance procedures
