As an IPAC Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient safety and managing infection risks within VCH's diverse portfolios. This position calls for strategic oversight, resource management, and continuous quality improvement to elevate the standard of care in various healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the regional Infection Prevention and Control program
• Facilitate collaboration among site leaders and stakeholders
• Develop and standardize policies in infection control
• Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and education
• Serve as the escalation point for IPAC-related concerns
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or health-related field
• At least five years of related Infection Control experience
• Current CBIC Certification in Infection Control preferred
• Strong knowledge of epidemiology and microbiology
• Excellent leadership and communication capabilities
