Casual Homemaker Position

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Homemaker is responsible for maintaining the tidiness of living spaces at Tamura House. Your efforts will enrich the living conditions of adults facing challenges, including personal assistance and organization of supplies. This role requires adherence to rigorous health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of resident and shelter rooms

• Organize laundry and personal care supplies

• Collaborate with and direct volunteers

• Assist residents with hygiene and nutritional needs

• Comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education plus one year of experience

• Current First Aid Level 1 certification

• Excellent communication skills

• Capability to work independently or as part of a team

• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
