Clinical Counsellor in Mental Health Services

As part of the Primary Care Network (PCN), this role emphasizes providing therapy and support for clients coping with mental health issues. You will deliver brief interventions, assess needs using professional standards, and work closely with community resources. Actively advocate for client needs related to housing, food, and integrated care services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual therapy and group counseling sessions
• Coordinate with agencies for client support services
• Advocate for client access to essential resources
• Maintain accurate records and reports per policies
• Educate clients and families on available programs
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Clinical Counselling or comparable field
• Minimum two years of recent experience in psychiatry
• Current B.C. Driver’s license required
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders
• Proficient in crisis intervention and assessment
