Make a difference as a Mental Health Housing Clinician with Vancouver Coastal Health! Your expertise will aid clients struggling with mental illness to find appropriate housing solutions.
In this position, you'll perform housing assessments and promote community resource utilization for clients experiencing homelessness. You will collaborate with healthcare teams and advocate for client needs. Strong knowledge of mental health and community resources is crucial to effect positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform screenings and initial assessments for housing needs
• Collaborate with hospital and community health teams
• Provide education on mental health housing guidelines
• Document and maintain client records accurately
• Participate in team meetings and quality initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a health sciences discipline
• Minimum two years' experience with mental health clients
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health issues
• Valid BC Driver's License may be required
• Ability to conduct psychiatric assessments
