The position requires full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. You will assess client needs, implement services, and maintain detailed records within a family-centered care model. Collaboration with other health professionals ensures a holistic approach, promoting quality outcomes for clients while participating in departmental improvements and interdisciplinary research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform client assessments for occupational performance
• Plan and implement outcome-oriented therapy services
• Evaluate service effectiveness and maintain records
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research projects
Requirements:
• Full registration as an Occupational Therapist in BC
• Eligible for Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists membership
• Knowledge of client and family-centered care models
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and collaborators
• Strong problem-solving and teaching skills
