Vancouver Coastal Health offers a vital role for a Physiotherapy Assistant with the Acquired Brain Injury inpatient team. You will facilitate lower-risk PT interventions, teach adaptive activities, and assist patients in daily living skills under the supervision of physiotherapists. This role will enhance your expertise through hands-on experience in patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate rehabilitative activities according to PT care plans

• Teach adaptive living skills to patients and families

• Support patient mobility through equipment supervision

• Report changes in patient status to the physiotherapy team

• Organize and clean rehabilitation equipment and tools

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform physical tasks as required

• Good organizational skills for day-to-day operations

• Experience operating therapeutic equipment
