Vancouver Coastal Health is actively recruiting Care Aides to work in our Long Term Care facilities.

Your role will involve following care plans, assisting with personal care, and monitoring clients' health. Your responsibilities extend to responding to alarms and helping maintain a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing

• Monitor and report clients’ progress and symptoms

• Respond to call bells and alarms promptly

• Utilize mechanical aides for client transportation

• Maintain a hygienic and safe environment for clients

Requirements:

• Successful graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant Program

• Eligible for BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Physical capability to carry out the role's duties

• Strong organizational skills for daily tasks
