Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant for their Acquired Brain Injury unit. You’ll operate under the direction of physiotherapy professionals, implementing interventions designed to enhance patient outcomes.

Your role will incorporate teaching therapeutic activities and adapting devices for patient use, making a significant impact on their recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PT care plans with lower-risk interventions

• Demonstrate everyday activities to support rehabilitation

• Adapt assistive devices for optimal patient mobility

• Update the team on patient observations and progress

• Manage and maintain therapeutic equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• Effective communication abilities in verbal and written formats

• Physical fitness to perform required tasks

• Strong organizational skills for workflow management

• Knowledge in operating therapy-related equipment
