Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a skilled EEG/EMG Technologist to join their team. You will conduct Electroencephalography, Electromyography, and other neurophysiology tests while promoting an inclusive, culturally safe environment. Your expertise will support effective patient care and clinical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute diagnostic tests like EEG and MEP responsibly
• Document and report findings for clinical evaluation
• Provide monitoring services during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with diverse healthcare teams for patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety and operational standards when using equipment
Requirements:
• Diploma in Electroneurophysiology required
• At least one year of relevant experience included
• Must hold CBRET or ABRET certification
• Successful completion of specified technician certification exams
• Solid understanding of evidence-based neurophysiology practices
