Experienced Medical Device Technician

Be part of the team at Providence Health Care as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician l's Hospital in Vancouver. This role is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of sterilization for medical equipment.

In this full-time position, you will handle the cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments used across various departments. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate related equipment are essential. A Sterile Supply Processing course completion is required, alongside a year's experience or equivalent qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sterilize medical devices and supplies for surgical use

• Check and assemble medical equipment and procedure trays

• Track and respond to urgent Operational Room requests

• Conduct clerical duties, maintaining accurate records

• Adhere to safety standards in the work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma and accredited Sterile Supply Processing course

• Recent experience in a similar role or related training

• Knowledge of surgical techniques and terminology

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Capacity for physical duties associated with the role
